Preparedness knowledge, real-time emergency coverage, and a community built to help each other survive.
Survival Siren exists because the world doesn't wait for a good time to go wrong and when it does, most people are left piecing together outdated guides and scattered headlines. We're building the one place that brings it all together.
Our Story
Survival Siren started from a simple frustration: when something goes wrong β a natural disaster, a grid failure, a regional conflict, a public health scare β the information people actually need is scattered across a dozen government sites, forums, and outdated blog posts, while the news covers it for a day and moves on. There was no single place built specifically to help ordinary people prepare, respond, and stay informed before, during, and after a crisis.
So we built one. Survival Siren combines practical, no-nonsense preparedness guidance with live monitoring of emergencies as they unfold around the world. Pulled from the same public data sources professionals rely on, and presented in a way anyone can actually use. What started as a single site is growing into a running archive of survival knowledge and a real-time watch on the situations that matter.
What We're Building
Survival Siren is built around three goals that reinforce each other.
A Complete Preparedness Library
Practical, well-researched guides covering preparedness and survival for any situation β from everyday emergencies to worst-case scenarios, written to be used, not just read.
Global Emergency Coverage
We track and report on emergencies as they happen worldwide β disasters, conflicts, and breaking situations, functioning like a news outlet focused entirely on what puts people at risk and what they need to know.
A Community That Helps Itself
Our long-term goal is a community of people who share real experience and knowledge with each other because the best preparedness advice often comes from someone who's already been through it.
