In a devastating aviation accident, an Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 aircraft, operating as Flight J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny, crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan. The flight carried 62 passengers and five crew members, resulting in 13 confirmed fatalities, including both pilots. Russian President Vladimir Putin has also extended support and sympathy to the grieving families.
The Embraer 190 aircraft manufacturer has pledged its full cooperation with ongoing investigations, as authorities from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Russia collaborate to determine the cause of the crash.
